ERIC DROOKER is a painter and graphic novelist, born and raised on Manhattan Island.
An award-winning author of Flood! A Novel in Pictures, and Blood Song, his paintings
have appeared on dozens of covers of The New Yorker, and hang in numerous collections.
He designed the animation for the film Howl, and was recently hired by DreamWorks to
create art for an upcoming feature.
He regularly draws from the figure, and is creating a
series of nude paintings for an upcoming book.
Drooker was invited to be visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Germany in June 2013.
